Dr. Casey Corkum, MD
Sports Medicine Consultant and Family Physician (UTM)
A graduate of Dalhousie University Medical School, I also hold an honours degree in Kinesiology, acquired through the university’s Health and Human Performance program. I completed my Family Medicine Residency through the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and am an active member of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Throughout my career, I have provided services at numerous sporting events, including as a member of the medical team at the Mississauga Marathon. I have also been involved in the medical care of the St. Michael’s Majors OHL hockey team.
In addition to my practice at The Sports Clinic, I have a family practice based in Mississauga, where I am actively involved in the education of resident physicians.
