Registered Physiotherapist (UTM)
An athlete myself, I champion the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle. Working with clients to develop individualized treatment programs to help them overcome injury and meet their personal physical performance goals is intensely satisfying, both personally and professionally.
As a practitioner of numerous sports, I’ve undergone several activity-related injuries, including an ACL reconstruction. These experiences have given me insight into the importance and benefits of physical therapy, injury management and prevention. My treatment philosophy involves utilizing a combination of therapeutic strategies so that clients can recover quickly and with optimal function.
With a BSc in Kinesiology from McMaster University, I also hold an MSc in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. I continue to enhance my skill set, having taken courses in the Mulligan Concept, in visceral manipulation (through the Barral Institute) and in advanced athletic taping. I have completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University and, in 2017, earned a Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) by acquiring a Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
