Physiotherapist and Osteopathic Practitioner (UTM/WPO)
In my profession—one of the best professions in the world, in my view—I spend quality time with people who are in need, acting as a sleuth to figure out the underlying causations of their physical symptoms. It’s an immensely rewarding experience and I get to do it every day of my life.
After completing a general BA, acceptance into McMaster University’s health science program specializing in physiotherapy was a turning point for me—I knew I’d found my calling. Always striving to be the best healer I can be, I continue to take courses, studying with vigour to effect positive change in people’s lives.
Upon completion of my BA, I acquired a BHSc of Physiotherapy from McMaster University. I am a Fellow of both the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) and the International Federation of Manipulative Physiotherapists (IFOMPT). In addition, I am a Certified Medical Acupuncture Practitioner (Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute) and hold a Diploma of Osteopathy DO(Q) from the Académie Sutherland d’Ostéopathie du Québec. I have a clinical mentorship with University of Toronto medical residents and physiotherapy students and have performed 1000 hours of Cadaveric Dissection and have experience with Clinical and Differential Diagnosis Teaching, both with the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Human Dissection Experience (CAM HDE) at Queens University.
